4 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH AND LAKE MBURO N/P SAFARI.

Tour overview:
This safari takes you to Uganda’s most visited National Parks Queen Elizabeth National Park known to protect up to 95 mammal species and more than 600 bird species. Lake Mburo National Park is as well part of your tour where you will encounter the graceful giraffes and vast wildlife populations including the uncommon elands. Game viewing will be your breathtaking safari experience as you closely spot various wild animals carry on their routine obligations in their natural habitats. Africa’s wildlife highlights will be experienced on a magical cruise along the Kazinga water channel and Lake Mburo where you will spot several animals, aquatic life and bird species.

 Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Pickup will be early in the morning by our professional driver guide on this eventful day, take you through a briefing of your 4 days wildlife safari and immediately set off for a drive of approximately 7 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will traverse several districts to Fort portal for a stop for your lunch and later proceed to the Park while enjoying scenic views of rolling hills with terraced tea plantations. Arrival at your lodge will be in the evening to check-in, have dinner and an overnight.  
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon boat cruise.
Breakfast will be served very early in the morning and meet your driver guide to embark on your game viewing through the savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to spot the early risers of the wilderness and the nocturnal animals as they rush back to their hideouts. Animals to spot include large herds of elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, lions, leopards, antelopes and many more including a variety of bird species. Retire of the savannahs back to your lodge your hot lunch and later set off for a magical boat cruise along the Kazinga water channel. This experience is so fascinating, taking you through classes of hippopotamuses, flocks of birds, crocodiles basking along the shores and several animals quenching their thirst on the Kazinga water. Later in the evening, return to the lodge and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and a boat cruise.
After your breakfast, meet your driver guide and depart for Lake Mburo National Park with the drive lasting for about 4 and a half hours arriving in the afternoon to check-in at your reserved lodge and have lunch. Having finished your lunch, head-out for a boat cruise along Lake Mburo while you spot eye-catching flora and wildlife such as hippopotamuses buffaloes, waterbucks, crocodiles with a variety of birds such as herons, African fish eagle, kingfishers, cormorants and many others. Get back to you lodge with an en-route game drive while you spot a variety of grazers arriving at the lodge for your dinner and an overnight.  

Day 4: Morning game drive and departure.
Enjoy your last safari breakfast and meet your driver guide to immediately start your game viewing in Lake Mburo National Park. Animals to encounter include giraffes, zebras, elands, impalas, topis, reedbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes, warthogs and many more. You will get back to your lodge for lunch and later checkout to embark on your drive back to Kampala. Along your drive, expect to make some stops for example at the equator line in Kayabwe where you will make several pictures with your feet stepped in the 2 hemispheres of the globe as well as visit craft shops to have some souvenirs for yourself to take with you home. Proceed with your drive arriving in the evening to be dropped off at the airport in Entebbe or any hotel of your choice marking the end of your 4 days safari.
